Anna Ulmer works as a freelance designer and artist. After training as a carpenter, she studied design at art colleges in Kiel and Hamburg. Her practice is shaped collaboratively within the context of neighborhood initiatives, marginalized perspectives, and urban voids. In texts, designs, and collaboratively developed projects, she addresses questions of participation, the negotiation of urban spaces, and the role of art and design within them.

Anna Unterstab studied Experimental Design and Social Design at the HFBK Hamburg and the Angewandte Vienna, as well as Communication Design at Burg Halle and MOME Budapest. She works from a feminist and queer perspective and publishes critical design theory. In collective and locally situated design processes, she works interdisciplinarily at the intersection of design, education, and art. Themes in her work include empowerment, vulnerability, memory culture, critique of power, community, and care. In 2023, she was awarded the German Design Graduate Award in the “Society and Community” category.

Sabine Bitter und Helmut Weber, die in Vancouver und Wien lebenden Künstler:innen arbeiten seit 1993 an Projekten, die sich mit Städten, Architektur und der Politik der Repräsentation und des Raums befassen. Sie arbeiten mit den Medien Fotografie und Video. In ihrer forschungsorientierten Praxis beschäftigen sie sich in mit spezifischen Momenten und Logiken des globalen urbanen Wandels, wie sie sich in Stadtvierteln, Architektur und Alltag manifestieren. Seit 2004 sind sie zusammen mit Jeff Derksen Mitglieder des Kulturforschungskollektivs Urban Subjects.
