Jeremy Till is an architect and author. He heads Central Saint Martins College and serves as Vice Dean of the University of the Arts London. Among other works, he has published the books “Flexible Housing” (2007, with Tatjana Schneider), “Architecture Depends,” and “Spatial Agency” (2009 and 2011, with Nishat Awan and Tatjana Schneider). All three have been honored with the RIBA President’s Award for Research. Till curated the British Pavilion at the 2006 Venice Biennale and the 2013 Shenzhen Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture.
Marius Töpfer works on process-oriented architecture and urban production across various scales. He is co-founder of Mikropol, a self-organized neighborhood center, as well as projektbüro, a studio for architecture and urban design.
Transforming Solidarities is an interdisciplinary research group based in Berlin. Since 2021, members from the Technical University, the Free University, Humboldt University, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin have been collaborating. The group works in an exploratory, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary manner at the intersection of academia and urban society. It connects the expertise of six renowned research institutes in Berlin’s academic landscape with actors in urban society and cultural institutions.
