Sven Quadflieg studied design and visual communication at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and the Zurich University of the Arts, and earned his doctorate at the HFBK Hamburg. He has taught at various universities and is currently a professor at the HSHL in Hamm, where he focuses primarily on the design of information and interaction. His research interests include the interdependencies between design and society, political design, and transformative design.
