Displaying Political and Cultural Concerns

This simple paperback compiles a wide variety of materials related to some seventy exhibition design projects by the Kooperative für Darstellungspolitik from the past ten years. Sketches, plans, graphics, photos, models, exhibits, diagrams, prototypes, meetings, installations, and references offer a selective focus on the design process and its conceptual, social, and spatial dimensions. The design approach is conveyed less through photographic representations of final results and more through an exploration of its socio-material development as a process log. 

In keeping with the cooperative working approach, the book’s graphic design was created in collaboration with Studio Matthias Görlich, NLF Team, HIT, Anna Voswinckel, and Lamm & Kirch.
