The landscapes in which we live are in a state of decline. The prevailing forms of spatial planning, which have contributed to the destruction of our environment, are in crisis. Building on a critical analysis of ecological simplification as the driving force behind capitalist spatial planning—a phenomenon deeply rooted in architecture—this book aims to grasp space in its relational complexity in order to join a more-than-human search for sustainable spatial practices.
